New months bring a new list of to do's for me. I tend to start each month with a laundry list of things I must get done, to only find that I've crossed off a small percentage of what I intended to do. So this month I want to hold my self accountable, putting it out there for you all to see helps with that.
October Goals:
- Do at least 1 DIY post - I have been meaning to do a fringe DIY post and I must get it out to you all this month. Can't wait to share it with you all because I love fringe and its all the rage this season.
- Create a scripture/study printable. Often after the sermon, I have to go back and find my notes scribbled here and there on what I should be studying for the week. I have a notebook which is great, but I would love to bring my own printables to church with me that help me organize my thoughts. I've seen quite a few of these around, but I need something that's made for me and works for me. Creating my own printable (that I can share with yal!) will be fabulous.
- Spend more quality time with my little family and document it! The work week wears me out, when Friday approaches I cannot wait to come home, relax, and not use any brain cells. Tis the season for quality family time, so this month I want to make sure that I at least do a couple of things from this list! And totally need to document it for my blog, I used to do weekend update posts and those sort of... well... they just don't happen anymore. This will be a small step in the right direction.
- Start a holiday savings plan! Where did the time go, its already time to start thinking about gifts for the family for the holidays. If I don't start thinking about it now, I will be stuck trying to come up with a plan at the last minute and that's no fun. Is it too early? I don't think so. My company officially starts promoting holiday on October 15... Happy Holidays! Ok, maybe its too early for the jolly greetings :)
- Add 10 items to my Etsy Shop. I opened my shop! Yay! Check it out here (shameless plug). But right now I only have listings for custom work. I am planning to work on a few prints and products that you are bound to love. That means I need to add 2-3 new items each week this month. Its lofty, but I need something to work towards.
Ok, that seems like a long list!
Gotta get to it!
