Happy Friday!

The weather is beginning to warm up a bit, so I've taken advantage and am getting as many outfit shots in as possible. On top of that I wanted to show you this new clutch I adore from Chi Chi London. I wanted to pair it with a casual yet cozy outfit because that's just totally my style. I would totally wear it out and about as well, but nowadays out and about means running errands! :)

Today is my baby girl's birthday! I cannot believe she is 1 year old already!
Here's a few pics over the year that I love!

I just love her :)
Have a great weekend!

Hey!

Hoping the week is winding down great for you. There have been many things changing in my life recently! I have accepted a new position working in marketing/social media at a large retailer and today is actually my last day at my current employer! Bittersweet, but so excited for what the new job and New Year are bringing to me!

This will also be my last week doing Let Your Light Shine here at I'm Perfectly Human. Beginning Monday, you will be able to follow me and my journey at Spoonfuloffaith.com! But don't you fret, there will be a lot of great things going on there. Let Your Light Shine will continue on Aisha's blog Made With Zeal!

Lastly, I wanted to talk about this pretty printed blouse I am sporting c/o Hybrid. They are an amazing brand from the UK, and although their clothing is super dressy, I decided to try and wear this shirt in a different way. I think I succeeded in what I was looking to do. What do you think?

Today is Let Your Light Shine Thursday!

Update + Firmoo.com Glasses

Happy Hump Day!
I hope the middle of the week brings some sunshine to your life. It is supposed to get up to about 20 degrees here and the sun is trying to shine here in MN. I know that doesn't seem like much to any of you, but we have been weathering -10 - -20 degree days here, so we will take it.

A few things going on with this one - I am going to be starting a new day job beginning next week! I have accepted a position in the marketing area where I will contribute to managing the digital campaigns on social media for a very large retailer! I am pumped to begin the new year with a new position, new perspective, and new outlook. Fun and exciting!

I've also got a little baby girl who is turning 1 on Friday! Can you believe it has already been a year that she has been in my life and changed it so beautifully. I really love her and am so excited for her little birthday party!

On top of that - as you can see I look a little different. I am sporting these frames from Firmoo.com. Ok so funny story. I've needed glasses for like ever, I mean I was definitely a harm to society by walking around as blind as I was. I had glasses, I lost them. I wasn't wearing contacts. It was just all bad. Well thank God, Firmoo.com actually reached out to me to see if I would be interested in reviewing a pair for them. I totally took advantage of it and ordered a pair. Not thinking too much about them, and then they arrived. They are a beautiful quality and are a stylish frame as well. They also fit like a glove - as long as you know your prescription and a few other measurements you can have a great pair in no time. I haven't taken them off, I just love them so much.

Well, that's all for now!

Have a blessed day!

P.S. Do you desire prayer?
I would love to say a little prayer for you. Please email me at jenabranch3@gmail.com!

My Plans

Happy Tuesday!

Doesn't it seem like Tuesdays are becoming a recurring theme for me? I mean, its been pretty slow around here thanks to the holidays, not to mention I've been working on getting the new site rolling. Each week I've been checking in and it happens to be a Tuesday. lol.  But what I really wanted to talk about today is how my plans for 2015 changed into something more beautiful. See I had a lot of plans, lists of things I wanted to accomplish this year and then suddenly, just like that they were put at a halt.

You see my plans, my thoughts, were beginning to confuse me, and wind me into this weave where it's all about what I want, and not enough about others. My plans were beginning to make me think I knew more than the Lord above and what He has already put in motion for my life. My plans were almost leading me away from my full potential and could have become one of the biggest distractions for 2015.

Wow, am I happy to say I heard a word of truth that opened my eyes. I began writing on this blog again a couple years ago and opened my shop last September because I just wanted to show Jesus through every inch of my life. Through my family, through my fashion, through my art. To show that you could be young, enjoy life, and be full of a fire of a true and living God.

This truth woke me up, this weekend, to realize that I have a purpose and my obedience to my savior will be the only thing that allows  me to reach my FULL potential. That means putting my ideas aside, for his. Yal, when I say that my ideas are not even a tenth of what one step of his plan is for me, I am still not explaining it fully! My focus for 2015 is to stay focused on the one above. Letting him lead me, guide me, and show me where and what to do in everything. That is the only thing I want to put emphasis on in my life. Because He is so important. He moved in me and gave me a refresh that I needed. I'm so thankful.

I am beyond excited to share more of His amazing love with the world and with each of you.

Have a beautiful blessed day, yal!
