It’s starting to get colder here in
Minnesota and although we have had minimal snow this year (I am not
complaining!), there is something about seeing the snowflakes fall that just
makes you feel in the holiday spirit!
Three things I
absolutely love about this time of year are:
#1 - Giving to others. I love the feeling I
get when I get someone a good gift or do something special for them. It makes
me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
#2 – Spending time with family & friends. Nothing more
relaxing and cozy to me than putting on comfy clothes, heading over to my parents’
house and hanging out with the family during the holidays.
#3 – The food. Okay, you knew this was
coming. My pregnancy came at the most opportune time. With Halloween,
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years – I sort of hit the jackpot.
Thanksgiving food was so satisfying; my mouth is salivating thinking of a
Christmas ham… (hint, hint, Mom) J
