The Cheese Stands Alone.

Happy Monday!

This weekend was so cold out! So me and A decided to do a few errands, and cozied up in the house. Again another weekend where Redbox won as the the activity of the night - Iron Man 3, and I cooked up some good food.

In fact, I decided to make some homemade baked macaroni and cheese. Any one that knows me, knows that is my absolute favorite thing to eat. I LOVE cheese. LOVE it. I'm the type that goes to the fridge for a snack and grabs a stick of cheese.

Yum, so good.

So when my mom would make mac & cheese as a side to go with dinner growing up, I would help her make it just so I could eat bits of cheese that didn't make it in the pan :) Haha! And I was so spoiled with baked macaroni and cheese, I didn't even know you could make mac & cheese from a box until middle school. I lived off easy mac containers in college, the first year away from home; but alas I have returned to the real stuff. The homemade, 4+ cheeses and oven baked, gooey goodness.

The good stuff.

For those of you who do not share in my love for mac&cheese, I apologize.
Actually, I do NOT apologize. How can you not love cheese? Who are you?

Anywho,
hope this brought a smile to your face to start the week out right!

P.S. What's your favorite type of cheese!?

  1. Finally, someone else who seems to love cheese as much as I do :)

For about two years after I found out about my Celiac disease I couldn't digest any dairy and became a cheese narcoleptic - any amount of cheese and I would immediately fall asleep! But now I'm back to eating it and I'm right along with you, homemade mac & cheese is the best.

Personally, I'm a cheddar girl and I can't get enough of Tillamook cheddar cheese (any variety, the medium cheddar, the sharp and especially the extra sharp aged vintage white cheddar), yum!

  2. So YUM! If I could eat mac and cheese all the time, I would- unfortunately that wouldn't be the best idea. But still on my top for favorite foods ;)

  3. This is my favorite hands down, and my boyfriend's favorite that I cook for him. My aunt would make our favorite meal for us on our birthdays and she just knew to make me baked mac and cheese! I hated grated those blocks of cheese but I do anything for that mac! :)

  4. When I was vegetarian I loved Brie, Colby jack, and mozzarella cheese. I really miss it especially when it comes to macaroni and cheese.
