So excited for the weekend. I have a few fun things planned, a wedding reception, a friend's birthday, a candle party and all in 2 days! Talk about busy weekend. Luckily, it is supposed to be blue skies and nice weather so it should be fun. 

Whatever it ends up being, I will likely be wearing something similar to the pic below (I wish -_-).

My favorites are the sandals.. and love the Marc Jacobs bag. You also can't really go wrong with a belly and a maxi skirt/dress. Ha!

Thankfully its Friday and I have a couple days before I have to get back in work mode.

Hey there, How goes it?

Last week my girlfriend invited me to a Christmas Party for her job. I decided to pull out a dress that was actually gifted to me last year by another girlfriend of mine. She bought it from ASOS, which was my favorite store last year! It didn't fit her, so thank God for friends, eh!! :)

If the shoe fits...

The party was a lot of fun, we ate great, had a few bevs... and at one point 90% of the people at the party were on the dance floor. That was the highlight of my night! Needless to say it was a very fun night! It definitely got me in the Christmas spirit! 

WHO'S EXCITED FOR THIS WEEKEND!!??

This weekend I will be heading to my parents house, which is about 15 minutes from me. We are doing a secret santa, which we started a couple years ago. One for the adults and one for the kids. It takes the pressure off of having to buy lots of gifts, or go broke for Christmas. 

Don't get me wrong, I like giving gifts, especially the thoughtful ones that take a little effort. But, at one point everyone was getting so stressed trying to get everything, and we decided to make it more focused on God and family versus material things. However, my mom people still bend the rules and get gifts for others!

We don't do a big dinner for Christmas Eve, usually that's done on Christmas Day. For Christmas Eve, we are going to be having walking tacos! And I am super excited because I love tacos and adding Doritos to them just makes them even better! If you don't know what walking tacos are, they are just when you put all the fixings of a taco (meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, taco sauce, sour cream etc) in a personal size bag of tortilla chips, fritos, etc. It just makes it easier and it mixes it all up for you. It is delish! 

You must try them!!

Speaking of food, 

last night I had a girl's night with my faves. We made dinner and talked about our goals for 2012. 

Roasted chicken with veggies, red potatoes, macaroni & cheese and side salad.

And WINE of course! It wouldn't be a ladies' night without it!

Happy Friday! What are your plans for the weekend? I seriously want to know, so I can live vicariously through you all. I don't have much planned, just work and a BBQ. Should be interesting a blast.

I think I want to start a weekly ritual, like a top 10 or top 5 list of something funny just to put a smile on mine and your face each week... This thought is too be continued.. :)

But I was looking through top 10 lists and fell upon top 10 fail auto-corrects. Don't you hate when your phone send the wrong word. I experience this a lot with my touch screen on my EVO... I mean, sometimes its pretty funny when you are trying to write someone and then auto-correct puts something random as ever in..

Johnson's Baby Lotion. Keeps me moisturized.

Victoria's Secret Sweet Daydream Body Spray. Go to local store and smell. You will die.

Mini purse. Gift from G-ma, holds debit/credit cards, cash, etc.

Travel size Secret Scent Expressions/Cocoa Butter Kiss. Another to die for scent for the underarms.

ChapStick True Shimmer. It keeps lips soft and adds a little sparkle.

Dior Addict Lipstick. Shade 535, it's a light pink with little shimmer.

Maybelline eye liner. 

VS Lip Gloss in Sugar High. This is a must have; $7.

On my key chain: house keys, car keys, pool key, LA fitness member tag, Roundy's Grocery store rewards card, key chain flashlight ;)

My Favorite Place.

My living room. Right there on that couch is where I do most of my blogging. And I love the skylights in my kitchen, helps my electric bill out.

My closet. Still a work in progress and there is definitely another part to my closet which is full of boxes of winter clothes. I do go through it every year and giveaway/sell items because I hate things not being worn!  I also have two huge chests full of everyday items. However, I still find myself saying those famous words:

"I have nothing to wear!"

and lastly...

I ♥ my Jewelry.

I have a large jewelry collection, which is not all shown. I love this silhouette piece I bought to hang my jewelry on! It rocks, I got it from TJ Maxx for like $15. I only put a few pieces on it and the rest are in this white box, which I bought from IKEA a couple years ago. I have a few of them which I use for my jewelry and my sunglasses.
